Song memories *

Isn’t it bizarre how some songs evoke such strong and specific memories?

blink-182, Carousel – JP playing his electric guitar and singing in his parents lounge room.

Ferry Corsten, Punk – Dancing in white on the Rise podiums with glow sticks in each hand.

Dido, Sand In My Shoes – Breaking up and getting back together with Rome.  Fighting to keep him.

Linus Loves, Stand Back & Crystal Waters, My Time – Dancing in a red cocktail dress and gold stilettos at Club Red Sea.

Katie Noonan, Bluebird – Late nights driving home from Boyd’s apartment.

Jamie Cullum, Lover, You Should’ve Come Over – Lying in a steaming hot bath at my old house, pining for Adam.

Katie Noonan, Home – Chilling by myself when I was staying at a friend’s house for a few weeks.

Snow Patrol, Chasing Cars – Laying in bed side by side with Adam at my old house, listening to him cry.
